Finals are the most torturous invention that man has ever created in the history of schooling. Finals are pointless because some people do not test well therefore they may fail the test because they freak. I really do not like finals and do not want to take them. They hurt my feelings and use up precious hours of my life that I will never get back, no matter how hard I try. I also am one of those people who freaks out on the test. But I have been working hard to try and stop that and am succeeding more than I ever imagined. Other than that I honestly do not mind finals all that much.
Twilight, yes I know I mention that book every blog almost but it is my most favorite-est book in the whole wide world. I am officially by my asfaawbffe or best friend, called an obsessed fan Bella. And she is hence forth known as Alice the ummm….well I am still working that little part out. But I promise to figure it out for my sake and for my sanity. At least I need some resemblance of sanity.
This past week was so much fun. I go to spend most of it with my family, who I love so much that includes my two dogs and one cat.
I love to see movies and I can not wait for, you can probably guess it, Twilight to come out on Dec. 12, 2008. The trailer for Twilight the movie, will be or should be released next week May 9, 2008 before the movie Speedracer. But I am hoping beyond hope that the preview trailer will be shown at the sneak peek of Speedracer. It would make my life complete for like 3 minutes and make me feel perfect. That would be amazing when it happens for me I love twilight. Twilight is like oxygen I need it to live!!!! Lol I find that amusingly awesome.

This book is also known as my depression book. Lol. Mainly because I feel what Bella is feeling because I am so entranced by the beautiful writing.

I can't wait for the movie either - I'm just worried that it won't live up to expectations (especially seeing as Kristen's acting wasn't that great in all the scenes we've been shown so far) :o/
The fact that people other than me and my best friend actually use the asfaawbffe thing makes me smile. (I'm lanna-misssunshine on FF, if that's where you found it) :o)
Nothing can live up to the book, it is one of a kind. Hopefully the movie will at least be half as good (even if Kristen's acting is not that great).
I did read that on your story, and it is one of my favorites. It, the asfaawbffe, just stuck out and we both loved it.

Yeah, movies are never as good as books anyway... I guess it's good they aren't doing what they did with the book Blood & Chocolate (the movie of that was nothing like the book except the characters had the same names)
Some of the changes they've made are kinda silly though - like the pepper spray in the fight scene. :oP

Blood and Chocolate would have been a good movie if you had not read the book before. Unfortunately, like you i read it and it was ruined.
I still do not see the point of the pepper spray, except to emphasize that he is a vampire. I just wonder if there are anymore scenes like that.

Yeah, to me the pepper spray didn't even emphasize the fact he's a vampire... it just made Bella seem like a ditz, I mean in the book - yeah she runs but that's just the whole fight or flight reaction, she knew she couldn't fight a vampire and trying would only piss him off so she ran. (the pepper spray doesn't make sense either, I mean why would she even have it with her. Alice bought her new clothes so it wouldn't randomly be in her pocket or anything... and she was in a hurry to leave and knew she was going to die, she wouldn't stop to pick up pepper spray.)
Hmm, anyway - they've made a load of stupid changes/additions/cuts.
Have you seen the new video (on the Twilight lexicon) with the guys playing Sam and Embry?
In the video Krys(Embry) says that he was originally cast as Jacob... they should've stuck with him, he's way better. :o)

I don't know how she got the pepper spray unless she was dumb enough to stop and find it at her house. She should have known that it would not do any good but she was stupid and brought it. Pepper spray would just aggravate a vampire even more, therefore faster death. I just wonder if all of the changes are that bad.
He would have been a better choice for Jacob. I think they tried way to hard to find Jacob....he should not be as boyish as Taylor is, because he has to grow up fast. I love how he talks to he would have been the perfect Jacob.
What do you think about the Charlie, Renee and Phil they chose?
I actually really like Charlie, Renee and Phil... except the whole giving Charlie a dumb moustache thing. It doesn't suit the guy at all. :oP
Have you seen the new clips? (someone on IMDb got the Penelope DVD early and filmed the scenes for us and put them on youtube)
...I couldn't stand Kristen's acting in it, and some of the changes they made were dumb. Like the way she comments on Debussy is like "I'm just saying this to impress you" instead of the way it was in the book, like really cute getting to know eachother and both being surprised that they have similar tastes.

Why do they have to make Bella seem as if she is just agreeing to whatever he says? She has a mind of her own everywhere else.
Kristen's acting is alot worse than I feared but then again people who have never read the book will love it....like Blood and Chocolate.
Why oh why did they have her commenting like a bored teenager rather than an Oh I recognize this way? It would make alot more sense. They should have tried to keep that scene in the car rather than in his house. It takes so much away from it.

Yeah I agree... I get that they need to condense scenes, but changing them completely when they were already fine as they are was stupid.
Edward's "I can make you" line was just so creepy, I mean how can you MAKE someone dance? =/
I don't even think people who haven't read the book will like it if Kristens acting is that bad all the way through (only one of my friends has read Twilight, and the ones that haven't that I showed the clip too said that the acting was stiff, seemed forced, was not convincing and didn't catch their interest and they wouldn't want to see more of it) :o/
I think Catherine is filming it kinda the same way she does her other movies... and tries to make them too real, almost like it's a home video instead of a movie, which worked for movies like Thirteen but I mean... Twilight is about Vampires. It's not supposed to be realistic, it'd be way better done if it was more blockbuster-ish.
Plus, that kind of filming + bad acting just doesn't work... trying to make the movie look realistic with acting that looks fake and forced = not good. :o(
I just hope the trailer is absolutely epic and proves me wrong. :o)
You can't make someone else dance, unless you put them under hypnosis and make them.
True I was just trying to be hopeful, but then again it might pay to be negative. Then at least you have the chance to be suprised by how it turned out.
Catherine needs to focus more on how it will turn out rather than how it is percieved. If it is to realistic it will take away but then if she uses to much it will ruin it. I just hope she balanced it out.
Your right that kind of filming and bad acting are not the right combination...it ruins the movie.
Hopefully they will but the picture on Entertainment Weekly made me more nervous. What is with Kristen being so made up? That is not Bella.
